Curtains for a very wide window

The building trend for a while has included very wide windows to let in the light and

to give maximum views.

The S Wave Curtain was made to accommodate for these very wide windows.

The modern application to dress these windows is to use Roller blinds to give privacy

and to block out the sun.

The roller blind uses very little space when it is pulled up so you can also use it in a door way.

The S wave is great at bringing in another layer of interest, fabric brings warmth to a room

and also softens the many hard surfaces used in modern housing.

Traditionally S Waves were sewn in a sheer fabric in a single layer which is continuous, lately it has become more popular to use a double S Wave which includes a sheer layer and a block out layer.

The S Wave style does have a wider stack back than pinch pleat or inverted pleat curtains, you have

to consider this with a block out fabric as it is solid so will block your views, (use a wider stack back).

The fabric houses are now bringing out wider width, lighter weight block out fabrics to accommodate

the double S Wave style, which is great news as this has bought the price down per meter length for block out fabrics.

So for a modern look don't hesitate to use roller blinds with a S Wave curtain or double S Wave curtains.
